Founded in 1983 by Gilles Mailhot, ITI Hydraulik made its debut in Quebec in the Lanaudiere region, standing out in the field of hydraulics, particularly in the maintenance of agricultural heavy machinery.
Over the years, the company has progressively shifted to the field of vertical transport and set up several innovations that led it to stand out from the competition, such as synchronized telescopic cylinders and more compact hydraulic submersible power units.
In the early 90s, the new generation of the Mailhot family took control of key positions in the management of the company, allowing it to grow significantly in Quebec, Canada and even in the United States at the end of the decade.
But the company management did not stop there. Indeed, ITI Hydraulik has since developed a philosophy of continuous improvement in order to consolidate its position as a leader in hydraulic cylinder for elevators.
This new methodology was quick to pay dividends so, in November 2010, a U.S. plant is born, opened under the banner ITI Hydraulik USA in Andrews in South Carolina.
